Job Summary:

The Henri Bendel Stylist will bring in new clients, rely primarily on returning clients, but will also proactively assist incoming daily traffic.  They will keep in contact with their clients, and proactively reach out to them about The New & The Next, promotions, and upcoming Bendel events. All customers will be identified as potential clients. This role is responsible for ensuring an elevated service and selling Bendel experience.

Role Responsibilities:

Drives Financial Performance:
- Should exceed Sales per Hour (SPH) Goals
- Should exceed Average Dollar Sales (ADS) Goals  
- Should exceed Units per Transactions (UPT) Goals 
- Should exceed Customer Address and Email Capture Goals
- Builds customer loyalty by opening A-List Credit Cards, converting clients
- Displays expert knowledge in assigned categories
- Displays general knowledge in all categories to assist customers through the store
- Processes customer transactions accurately and efficiently

Maintains the Selling and Stock Areas:
- Understands and adheres to brand standards
- Maintains a clean and presentable cash wrap
- Replenishes merchandise to standard to create a full and abundant store
- Regularly replenishes selling area, working in partnership with Support Associates and other sales staff members
- Contacts maintenance associates to request clean-up as necessary, and monitors cleanliness of selling floor to minimize safety risks 
- Assists in maintenance of backroom and under stock, including both merchandise and non-merchandise, to brand standards to enable efficient replenishment
Reinforces all activities related to providing a safe working environment
- Reinforces store strategy to reduce shrink
- Maintains an awareness of loss prevention by fostering a culture of honesty and connecting the link between customer service and shrink

Understands Store Operations Procedures:
- Follows LBrands policies and procedures
- Follows the Respect, Honesty, and Integrity policy
- Respects the Dress Code policy
- Respects the Attendance policy
- Respects the Meal & Break guidelines

Skills and Qualifications Required:
- At least two years of luxury sales experience required
- Experience in developing clientele base required, an existing client book preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of and passion for latest fashion trends
- Knowledge of the Henri Bendel brand and vision
-  Possesses and demonstrates a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
- Demonstrates ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business 
- Demonstrates ability to follow through on projects in a timely and efficient manner 
- Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision 
- Demonstrates desire to learn about products within all categories
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends
