The Accountant, Financial Reporting is responsible for the moderately complex activities associated with store and office occupancy costs including the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements. This position assists in month-end; quarter-end and year-end closing process and will be responsible for enterprise occupancy expense projections and budgets.

-Ensure that all month-end accounting is performed for occupancy expenses in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of attention to detail.
-Prepare manual journal entries to the general ledger
-Reconcile and maintain expense accounts and ensure appropriate accruals each month
-Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts each month
-Prepare monthly occupancy projections and annual budgets
-Responsible for a portion of the intercompany process between L Brands Store Design and Construction (SD&C) and brands/functions within the Enterprise
-Assist with internal and external audit requests
-Ensure adherence to departmental standards and control
-Comply with legal and ethical standards
-Follow up on all outstanding issues on a timely basis
-Maintain excellent customer service relations
-Assist with special projects and department goals
-Identify areas of opportunity and recommend solutions for achieving optimal efficiency in a controlled environment
-Maintain financial and operational controls and procedures

-1 to 2 years of related financial analysis or accounting experience
-Experience in journal entry preparation, auditing and balance sheet reconciliation preferred
-Ability to meet all deadlines and handle multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to prepare all work in a timely manner with high level of attention to detail
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Maintain a high level of productivity
-Strong problem solving skills
-Proven organizational skills
-Intermediate / Advanced PC proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access & PowerPoint
-SAP experience preferred

-Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting is required with a CPA or MBA a plus
