Description

The Visual Merchandising Manager creates a consistent, branded, and emotional in-store experience that results in sales growth.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the overall appearance and presentation of seasonal merchandising strategies through assisting brand guide planning, mapping, and execution

  • Supports store team in achieving and maintaining visual merchandising presentation and standards to drive sales growth

  • Supports updates to floor plan and fixture block using the Digital Brand Guide and fixture database

  • Uses visual merchandising filters to execute sell down strategies and product placement

  • Supports and executes brand rollouts including visual merchandising and presentation initiatives

  • Reinforces visual merchandising skill and capability through education and usage of current tools

  • Proactively identifies and communicates merchandise flow and visual merchandising insights with recommended solutions

  • Understands all merchandise categories in total, and develops an expertise in assigned categories when multiple visual merchandising supervisor roles exist

  • Partners with SLT to resolve any identified maintenance and housekeeping issues

  • Assists in the observation and training of new associates, including mentoring and serving as a shadow partner

Qualifications


  • Visual merchandising/presentation experience with a leading specialty retailer or brand of comparable volume/velocity; 3 years minimum preferred

  • Excellent visual merchandising and presentation skill set

  • Knowledge of industry competitive landscape as well as current and relevant seasonal fashion trends

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred

  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively

  • Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Possesses a strong sense of urgency and a growth mindset

  • Proven ability to facilitate visual merchandising training or workshops

  • Ability to stretch, bend and lift moderate weight

  • Comfortable on ladder at various heights

  • Schedule flexibility that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-business hours
