The Beauty Specialist drives sales growth through expertise in fragrance and beauty products –with the ability to sell deep across fragrance and body care categories. The Beauty Specialist promotes a highperformance selling culture by inspiring, supporting and mentoring the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drives beauty sales and growth by personally selling to customers

  • Proactively engages with customers, reads cues and responds effectively

  • Moves with intention, connects with multiple customers and encourages them to sample product

  • Uses confident selling statements and is effective at overcoming customer objections

  • Demonstrates expert-level fragrance and beauty product knowledge to build fragrance wardrobes and makeadditional product category recommendations as needed on the sales floor

  • Provides customers with the perfect fragrance fit by asking effective questions, product demonstrations andapplications

  • Creates an enthusiasm for ‘Best at Fragrance’ strategies by inspiring, supporting and mentoring others’fragrance behaviors

  • Takes initiative to understand the beauty business and offers suggestions on how the store can drive beautygrowth

  • Participates in sales goal setting with manager and tracks individual and team performance towards the goal

  • Assists in training of new sales associates, serving as a shadow partner

  • Delivers a friendly and efficient cash wrap experience, processing customer transactions accurately andefficiently at the Point of Sale (POS) or Mobile Register, as needed

  • Creating customer awareness of programs available to them, (i.e. Victoria’s Secret Angel Card (US only), phone and email capture) to build customer loyalty, when applicable

  • Setting personal goals and tracking individual and team performance to the goals

  • Preparing for each shift by maintaining awareness of all sales, promotions and applicable ringing procedures

  • Taking initiative to recover and replenish merchandise, so it is available to sell

  • Understanding and adhering to visual merchandising brand standards

  • Assisting in housekeeping of sales floor and communicating maintenance issues

  • Keeping an awareness of, and building personal capability in, loss prevention

  • Reinforcing store strategy to reduce shrink

  • Supporting all activities related to providing a safe working environment

  • Understanding and demonstrating Company values
