POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Buyer in Marketing Business Services Print and Production at L Brands is responsible for maintaining consistent practices and methods for the acquisition and fulfillment of point-of-sale printed marketing materials. The incumbent will plan, produce and deliver window, in-store signage and other materials to meet the needs of the business in a timely and cost efficient manner for both US and International store locations. This role will collaborate with team members, suppliers and internal customers to develop best practices, deliver cost savings through budget management, bring innovation and technology solutions, and educate others on the benefits of sound procurement practices with respect to marketing print elements. This role will also focus on process development and continuous improvement and may have leadership responsibilities through one or more direct report(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Collaborate with both domestic and international Marketing and Creative teams as well as internal and franchisee partners (if applicable) to determine direction, expectations, schedule and budget for two-dimensional marketing print elements (three-dimensional overlap may exist)
-Quote marketing projects to include: define specifications, communicate to suppliers, obtain and analyze bids, communicate final costs, meet country culture standards and language requirements if applicable
-Prioritize and manage against the brand production calendar
-Re-bid changes and communicate changes to applicable teams
-Identify value-engineering options and alternatives to meet or reduce budget
-Create, maintain and distribute reports
-Conduct press approvals and be proficient in communicating color directions
-Collaborate with the Marketing Business Services and Production team to identify qualified suppliers in the marketplace leveraging such tools as online search engines, procurement networks, diverse supplier networks, etc.
-Maintain approved supplier contracts, update leadership for those needing renewal for evaluation, and attend key meetings regarding Supplier Relationship Management
-Identify and recommend cross-functional efficiencies
-Initiate purchase order process including fulfillment instructions
-Monitor requisitions and oversee the requisition-to-pay accrual process
-Ability to handle complex and diverse operational issues and to exercise good judgement in obtaining solutions
-Ability to travel as required

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Graphic Arts, Supply Chain, Procurement, Communications, Finance or Business
-5 years' experience in functional print production (i.e. knowledge and experience in silkscreen, digital and web/sheetfed print processes such as finishing, kit packing and fulfillment)
-Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team and supporting the development of others
-Other experience in graphic design and/or logistics, a plus
-Strong PC skills in either PC or Macintosh. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-Previous knowledge and experience with inventory management, preferred
-Previous knowledge or understanding of international exchange rates, a plus
-Previous knowledge or understanding of international shipping requirements, a plus
-Previous knowledge and experience with Ariba, a plus
-Previous knowledge and experience with FileMaker and/or InDesign, a plus
