The Agent role is focused on supporting domestic and international brands, inventory management, building, executing and analyzing competitive requests for proposal (RFPs), and supporting projects that involve spot sourcing, supplier selection and management. The position requires strong team working skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to execute multiple priorities simultaneously. Candidates for this position must be driven and passionate to consistently perform at high levels. As the Agent develops competencies and gains experience, they will be expected to assume more responsibility and leadership of spend categories and sourcing initiatives, taking on more strategic activities.

Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supporting the direct supervisor and the broader category team in:
-Responsible for managing inventory to support day-to-day store operations in an efficient and cost effective manner
-Supports real estate store activity by ensuring stores open with complete supply packages
-Performs competitive sourcing events; developing strong negotiation skills to manage suppliers, costs, and projects
-Verifies specifications and quality of products while identifying, managing and resolving issues in a timely manner with suppliers
-Supplier selection based on total cost of ownership, quality, and alignment of capabilities and business requirements
-Adheres to requirements regarding regulatory, sourcing and production
-Maintains a positive outlook and takes accountability to provide the highest level of service and professionalism
-Actively engages customers to understand objectives; thinks through the lens of the customer when recommending solutions
-Supports needs of team and customers in regards to accurate data entry, reporting and analysis that identifies trending, risks, and opportunities for supply program
-Audits and approves invoices for accuracy; resolves discrepancies timely and ensures credits are received
-Completes and audits Commercial Invoices quickly and accurately and provides guidance on completion to suppliers and other internal partners

-Category and supplier management skills to effectively achieve results
-Demonstrates strong project management competencies to organize and execute projects while documenting decisions and keeping applicable parties informed
-Displays critical thinking skills, interpreting complex information and articulates analysis or conclusions for execution
-Communicates in a highly effective manner (verbal, written and presentation)
-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to analyze situations and solve problems through a continuous improvement mindset
-Independent ability to execute tasks in a thorough, accurate and timely fashion while managing multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to travel as needed to support business objectives, including some international travel

-Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Statistics, Finance or Accounting
-Certified Purchasing Manager, Certified Professional in Supply Management, or other professional certification, a plus
-1-3 years procurement experience with an understanding and focus in supply chain, retail operations, and financial analytics
-Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
