Our AAD's are hands-on interactive masters. They're the primary support for PINK creative leadership from concept to completion, partnering with our copy, marketing and technology teams to develop best-in-class brand experiences for our highest profile initiatives. The Associate Art Director is responsible for creating and maintaining the visual image of the PINK brand across email, media and our social platforms.
In this position, the employee must provide strong conceptual thinking, solid design skills and expertise in Mac design programs. Push the boundaries of creative excellence and ensure the delivery of required results. Must also have the ability to work with members of the creative department as well as team members from other core departments. They bring great attention to detail and strive to define & adhere to the highest of standards. They're obsessed with the all things internet, and possess a passion for driving to it's bleeding edge. And most importantly, they're the industry's BEST designers.
Lead the design elements of social media projects from conception through implementation including graphic design, creating prototypes/mock-ups, usability testing and conversion optimization.
Lead the design of email and media campaigns from concept to completion
Partnering closely with copy and marketing to ensure brand-right messaging and visuals
Inject creativity, humor and a distinct visual identity to all marketing drivers
Work closely with the Brand Art & Photography teams to augment and/or create seasonal campaigns that live throughout all of our channels.
Rigorously pattern the competitive landscape and present seasonal reports of best-in-class executions
Understand the creative and marketing objectives for each project assigned
Manage team of designers
Ensure deadlines for assigned projects are met
Maintain absolute accuracy and attention to detail throughout the creative and production process
Maintain and update content templates to ensure accurate and efficient design production
Sophisticated sense of visual design/style
Impeccable design fundamentals (type, image, color)
Passion for developing intuitive and engaging user experiences
Working understanding of ecommerce and marketing best practices
Discerning eye for photo editing, cropping, and compositing

Bachelor's Degree (Design / Interactive) or equivalent experience
5-8 years Web design experience
Video experience a plus
Mastery of appropriate tools & technology
Advanced Photoshop, with excellent digital photo-manipulation and compositing skills
Working knowledge Illustrator & InDesign
Knowledge of best practices for Web image optimization
Motion graphics & video editing experience for web (After Effects & Final Cut Pro)
Relevant creative background
Proven talent in graphic and interactive design
Strong retail/fashion brand or agency experience desired; ecommerce experience ideal
Experience delivering on business and creative goals through design
Design for responsive layouts and touch interactivity
Experience overseeing or editing copy a plus
