Support the business by providing technical and analytical support in the areas of financial accounting and internal control as it relates to sales accounting order management system. Works with cross function teams such as Finance, IT Web Front End and OMS Backend, Marketing, Customer Call Center and DC to improve the quality of the services being delivered, as well as assists in testing and integration of new solutions. The analyst must have a passion for great customer experiences and empathize with users- goals and challenges, demonstrating good instincts about consumer behavior and business dynamics
-Represent Finance in testing and implementation of new order management system as it relates to sales accounting
-Support cross-functional agile project team (Finance, MGT, Marketing, Web team, and Customer Call Center) through work sessions to best determine the design and functional scope/requirements of projects
-Gather, document and clearly communicate project requirements from business and project teams
-Understand business processes while providing input in development, testing and implementation of programming changes
-Partner with cross functional teams to strategize and execute testing, influence decision making when resolving defects and defining business and functional requirements.
-Assist with organization of strategy in user acceptance testing and troubleshooting for all new functionality; manage and lead prioritization of testing defects for the project for proper tracking, resolution and implementation
-Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts. Ensure completeness in validation.
-Formulate, recommend and communicate courses of action to improve internal control procedures based on system analysis
-Support Sales Audit and Finance on identifying and resolving operational issues within order management system
-Collaborate with technical teams to ensure rapid and successful execution of projects
-Provide reporting and analysis of various operations and processes for management to identify control weaknesses and make recommendations on internal control procedures

-Firm knowledge of accounting principles and systems

-Thorough knowledge of direct order fulfillment operations
-In-depth knowledge of data flows and sources of significant management information
-2-5 years experience in Accounting or Finance.
-BS/BA Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related degree
-Exceptional knowledge of Access, Excel, Word, Microstrategy and Financial accounting systems
-Experience in trouble shooting, system testing and end-user support.
-Data gathering in Universal Database, and Microstrategy environments
-1-3 years operational experience in a Direct to Consumer order management environment a plus.
