POSITION TITLE: Financial Analyst, Inventory Control
DEPARTMENT: Finance (Inventory Control)
The individual contributor will be responsible for supporting the business by providing accounting, operational, technical, and analytical support in the areas of financial accounting and internal control as it relates to an inventory management system conversion to SAP and a new order management system. Works with cross function teams such as Finance, IT, Distribution Center, MP&A, and the Customer Call Center to assist in testing and integration of new solutions. The analyst must have a passion for great customer experiences and empathize with users' goals and challenges, demonstrating good instincts about consumer behavior and business dynamics.
-Represent Finance in determining operational design, testing, and implementation of a new stock ledger and new order management system as it relates to inventory management
-Support cross-functional agile project team (Finance, IT, Distribution Center, MP&A, and the Customer Call Center) through work sessions to best determine the design and functional scope/requirements of project
-Gather, document, and clearly communicate project requirements from business and project teams
-Understand business processes while providing input in development, testing, and implementation of programming changes
-Partner with cross functional teams to strategize and execute testing, influence decision making when resolving defects, and defining business and functional requirements.
-Assist with organization of strategy in user acceptance testing and troubleshooting for all new functionality; manage and lead prioritization of testing defects for the project for proper tracking, resolution and implementation
-Create and execute test scenarios and test scripts. Ensure completeness in validation.
-Formulate, recommend, and communicate courses of action to improve internal control procedures based on system analysis
-Support Inventory Control and Finance on identifying and resolving operational issues within the new stock ledger and the new order management system
-Collaborate with technical teams to ensure rapid and successful execution of project
-Provide reporting and analysis of various operations and processes for management to identify control weaknesses and make recommendations on internal control procedures
-Ensure compliance with accounting policies and adherence to internal controls
-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
-Perform job functions/assignments with minimal supervision
-Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities.
-Ability to work cross functionally and coordinate with outside vendors.
-Firm knowledge of accounting principles and systems
-Ability to perform system analysis and development of solutions to unique issues
-2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, inventory management experience a plus
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
-Proficiency with Excel and Access Applications, SAP experience a plus
