Position Title: Sales Leader
Reports to: Store Manager
Support the in-store customer experience by performing CSL duties, maintaining a selling focus and supporting
all aspects of store operations, including maintaining visual standards and opening/closing routines.
Over view of Role and Responsibilities
The Primary Position Responsibilities outlined below are not intended to be all-inclusive and additional
responsibilities may be required depending on the volume and complexity of the store.
Build Talent -- Support SLT coaching and help motivate associates
o Helping to lead selling and service efforts as the CSL during scheduled shifts
o Aid SLT to train, coach and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience
o Ensure associates consistently execute to the selling model
o Assist store management in conducting new associate onboarding and sales training
Build Capability -- Partner with members of the SLT to support action plans that optimize results and
ensure effective execution of all operational activities
o Support adherence to all company policies, procedures and guidelines in the absence of the Store Manager or Co-Manager
o Assist in meeting payroll targets by ensuring appropriate sales floor coverage and maintaining a selling focus
o Help ensure associates receive scheduled breaks and meal periods (per state specific guidelines)
o When needed help perform opening/closing routines
o Assist with inventory organization duties as directed by management
o Execute designated functions on the POS/registers in the absence of Store Manager or Co-Manager
Build Brand -- Promote and support an environment that is sharply focused on consistently delivering
exceptional, positive, in-store customer experiences
o Model the company's selling and customer experience standards
o Display expert knowledge of product, company policies and store/company strategies
o Help drive customer loyalty by consistently executing appropriate selling behaviors
o Provide assistance with floorsets, window changes, visual presentation standards,
signage placement, etc.
o Assist in resolving customer service matters in the absence of the Store Manager or Co-Manager
