Position: Manager Business Operations
Department: Victoria's Secret Lingerie - Operations
Reports To: Director, Victoria's Secret Lingerie - Business Operations
The Manager Business Operations of Lingerie Business Operations is responsible for leading the development and execution of cross-functional projects in support of process and growth initiatives for the Victoria's Secret Lingerie brand.
- The Manager will support process improvement efforts driving speed and efficiency across all areas of the Lingerie business
- The Manager works and partners cross-functionally to manage projects including process development, task force management, change management and business transformation.
Project Management, Process & Integration (70%)
- Develop and support cross-functional business initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness, drive speed and efficiency and process improvement across the lingerie organization
- Manage project activities including project planning, scope/definition, risk analysis, resource management, progress and status reporting, meeting facilitation, communication, issue resolution, scheduling and budget tracking
- Provide organizational design and change management support for large scale organizational change initiatives
- Effectively execute the tasks associated with assigned projects: facilitating alignment of cross-functional areas, surfacing and resolving issues, assessing risks, conducting follow-up, coordinating communication and maintaining project documentation
- Provide analytical support, including financial model development, communication of project objective and execution required for potential growth opportunities
- Influence decision making across multiple leadership levels to gain cross-functional alignment to achieve on-time execution of projects
- Lead presentation development to gain required approval from senior leaders throughout a given project
Ops and Business Support - Speed and Efficiency (30%)
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize projects that drive speed and efficiency
- Provide best practices and standards for project execution and project success criteria
- Help connect projects and initiatives across functions so that project interdependencies are clearly defined
- Provides Change Management and Communication support so that messaging is coordinated and impacted teams have the support to work differently in a new environment
- Provides a central repository of tools and templates to assist teams
- Bachelor's Degree in a business related field and prior management consulting and/or functional experience within retail operations a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, including projects related to business growth and process improvement
- Organizational Transformation, Change Management, Process Design, Retail Strategy a plus
- Demonstrated experience in the roles of planner, developer, coordinator and executor in medium to large projects from inception through implementation with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Creative problem solver and solution oriented
- Effective verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to project content as well as provide project management and process improvement leadership
- Demonstrated experience of organizing and managing cross-functional project teams
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills
- Professional style that stimulates a sense of collaboration and accountability that produces results
